Our Leadership Values in Action

  • We practice self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-care.

  • We arrive to meetings on time and meetings end as scheduled. We open and close our meetings by going around the circle when possible. Our meetings are productive and effective and if we do not feel they are, we offer suggestions to improve them.

  • We stand up for our ideas and beliefs and listen respectfully to each other. We leave aside our personal agendas in order to serve the common good and goal.

  • We know our role and responsibility and ask for clarification if something is not clear.

  • We empower and appreciate each other.

  • We are all leaders and request to take on responsibility according to our interest, expertise, and availability. We support team members growing their leadership skills and ask for that support when we need it.

  • We bring to our team our best self, our authentic self, our creative self, our joyful self, our honest self, and our sense of humor.

  • We celebrate progress.

  • We are transparent, avoiding hidden agendas and secret side meetings.

  • We bring to life our vision and mission and look for ways they can inspire us and inform our actions.

  • We come from a learning perspective, appreciating contributions, refraining from negative criticism and looking for collaborative ways to overcome challenges.
